If this is your first time here, welcome. I’m Laura Plunkett, and I help people hear what animals are trying to say—especially horses. But I didn’t grow up doing this. In fact, if someone had told me in my twenties that I'd one day be talking to horses, sharing their insights with thousands of people, I would have laughed.
I wasn’t aware of any intuitive ability until I was 35. Life was busy—I was a young mother, skeptical of anything ‘woo-woo’ and then the universe started tapping on my shoulder in ways I couldn’t ignore.
I was watching a New England Patriots game with my husband when I suddenly knew exactly what each next play was going to be. Not just guessed—knew. Then came the little things: thinking of someone right before they called, knowing exactly where a parking spot would open up. Odd coincidences, sure. But something was waking up.
Thankfully, I had a friend—a second mother to me—who insisted I come over once a week to “practice.” I protested. I doubted myself. I got distracted. I gave all the classic excuses. But she stayed steady. “It doesn’t matter if you’re wrong,” she said. “Just keep trying.”
That simple encouragement, offered over six months, helped turn random intuitive hits into a skill I could actually control and trust. It didn't come naturally to me—but it did come.
I began working with people as a medium, psychic, and medical intuitive and my word-of-mouth practice steadily grew. I still thought animal communication was a scam—even after everything. Until the animals started showing up.
I’d be talking to a client about their deceased father who had clear messages to share, and suddenly I’d see the family’s white dog in my mind’s eye next to him who would also start ‘talking’! The animals came in the back door, you could say and were as helpful and nuanced as the people.
Then a friend dragged me to a weekend workshop on animal communication—and everything changed. I learned that I could transfer my abilities from humans to animals. More importantly for you, I watched people who had never done anything intuitive before get spot-on, specific messages from animals they’d never met. No long meditations. No fancy rituals. Just focus and practice.
And that’s what drives me today: to help you trust that this ability isn’t exclusive or a gift. You don’t even need a weekend retreat. You just need to listen, be open, and give learning the skill the time it deserves.
